I waste way too much time evaluating new DAWs and plugins... Bitwig seemed so fresh until I tried it and realized how much it would slow down my real rate of production and artistic output... because of learning new tech and methods. Like bee to a flower I'm so fascinated and enticed. Same with plugins.
I MUST curtail this habit, obsession, trend, whatever... and just produce. Often times, the Simpler in Ableton is the most creative sound design tool of all. And, the familiarity with Ableton (even if I do have to rely on M4L LFOs and clever user lib tools) is a great asset in actually producing art in a productive and expedient way... with the least amount of friction.
So, see you later Bitwig, Cubase, Wavelab, Reaper, and all of the others.
