Dave Wesley - Anahata 86_7 Aeration Scene v1

This one was a challenge with many iterations and folded in new mixing/mastering techniques.  Progress toward my cinematic music endeavors.

[Dub Techno Release] Submersion – Momentum EP

“Momentum” was created using multiple improvised and layered audio segments each recorded in real-time. The album is nearly beatless, however there are percussive and rhythmic elements that appear throughout. The long track durations necessitated a digital release. The final track captures voices, and (what are assumed to be) coyote howls at night as the animals [...]

Thrumcast 014 – Substak

Kostas Staikos (aka Substak) was born and raised in the city of Athens. He caught our eye a while back with his refined productions, mostly released on small, quality independent labels like Entropy Records. The start of his journey into music began in 2011 when he decided to escape from the mundane reality of life [...]

ROHS! Records first vinyl release, featuring Arc Of Doves

ROHS! is a Sardinian record label based in Antwerpen (Belgium), founded by Andrea Porcu in late 2007. They have been busy in 2014 releasing numerous cd releases, and not it seems they have branched into the vinyl world which I’m sure many fans are happy about. Arc of Doves has long been a favourite of [...]

Dub Techno and Vinyl

Can anyone enlighten me into why such little dub techno gets pressed to vinyl? The genre definitely has a very niche market, but I feel that the genre's almost cult-like fans are dedicated enough to fuel adequate demand. Some of the genre giants like Yagya or Deepcord will see a vinyl release every now and then, and we've got a few record labels like Echocord and Ornaments that press vinyl, but the vast majority of releases never get pressed.

What a clown
