Quad Core Glory
Dell XPS 630 Quad Core WinXP machine on the way... Hoping that my UAD-1 card will work in this bad boy... I've read nothing to the contrary in the forums. I've read discussions purporting practically unlimited plug-ins/channels in Ableton Live 7. Drool.
For those of you thinking of buying, do it before WinXP is no longer available as an option on new machines. I've heard the end of May or June of this year. Vista not ready for music production prime time yet.

- UAD-1 works and I loaded Ableton up with tons of internal plugs to see if I could stress the CPU... couldn't get it over 25%. Wow.
