My plans for 2009 are to really step up production output... I have over a thousand unfinished tracks, at lease a few of which are probably worth releasing... : ) Need to just run them through my dirty dub factory. Had a blast playing Push gigs in Fargo. Video was a pain in the arse, at the Plains Art Museaum, but thanks to
Dan Reetz, finally got Resolume cooking and our murky set put me in a trance. Wired, the party the next night, was more up and stimulating and all DJs brought it. Nice to see MBR's
Arv succeed on her maiden voyage.
Thanks very much to
Guy Jean.

After watching the film about pop artist,
Ray Johnson, "
How to Draw a Bunny", I became very inspired to find a way to implement some form of Johnson's "correspondence art".
I chose a method of naming my original tracks that incorporates the name of another person (well-known and…

Dell XPS 630 Quad Core WinXP machine on the way... Hoping that my UAD-1 card will work in this bad boy... I've read nothing to the contrary in the forums. I've read discussions purporting practically unlimited plug-ins/channels in Ableton Live 7. Drool.
For those of you thinking of buying…

Check out the
Pacemaker. People already complaining that notebook DJs look like they are checking their emails when laying down a deep mix... Well, folks, DJs had better start learning to dance. Won't be long until devices like the Pacemaker will be as cheap as iPods.

Across the Universe by the Beatles will become the first song ever to be beamed directly into space next week, US space agency Nasa has announced.Anyone else think that this diminishes a potential 21st Century alien impression of intelligence on Earth? I do. What about sending some Ornette Coleman or Ricardo Villalobos - or any of the fine productions from the MBR network?
Paper ass bullshit.…
